FIJI Water to be carbon negative in 2008

April 21st, 2008 · No Comments

FIJI Water is the first brand in the beverage industry to make such strong commitments towards mitigating the effects of climate change. As the number 1 imported bottled water brand and also the top selling premium bottled water in the US, maybe they feel they should live up to their high expectations and lead by example in the industry. FIJI Water plan to achieve this by various methods from reducing the amount of energy required throughout the life-cycle of the product to the purchasing of permanent carbon offsets. They are also partnering with Conservation International, who will advise the company on their bid to become carbon negative.
