President Bush proposes that US emissions should peak in 2025. He said “to reach our 2025 goal, we will need to more rapidly slow the growth of power sector greenhouse gas emissions so that they peak within 10 to 15 years and decline thereafter,” in a speech released by the White House. This is an improvement to his previous stand on climate change, lets hope it is a sign of good things to come. Clinton, Obama and McCain are all more aggressive when it comes to climate change and all support mandatory limits on greenhouse gases.
