Save the Pacific Islands and other threatened Nations from the adverse effects of climate change!!

Climate change is being hotly debated within the United Nations and other major organizations. It is rapidly becoming the most imminent and major danger that the world faces. However, although it is gaining much public interest and many countries have put methods into force to mitigate it’s adverse effects, the most threatened Pacific Island nations are often forgotten.

Countries like the Marshall Islands and Tuvalu consist of islands and atolls that lie extremely perilously at only a couple of meters above sea level. If the world’s ways are not drastically changed, these wonderful cultures may be drowned within the next 50 to 100 years. Adaptation measures such as relocation would then overshadow mitigation efforts. We must not let this happen!

The web has an abundance of information on climate change and what everyone, all the way from the major green house gas emitting corporations to individual citizens of the world can, and should do in order to prevent it. It cannot be overemphasized that we must all do our part.

This website is here to raise awareness about the most venerable Pacific Island nations and all other low lying countries of the world. Sea level rise is not simply a nuisance for them, it threatens their very existence. Please spread the word so that our Micronesian, Melanesian and Polynesian friends may live on forever in their beautiful lands.
